On 3 Oct, Sat, representatives from Inner Wheels visited Kapar with us, bringing with them lots of goodies and cheer to the Kapar villagers. We met at Sunway Damansara and pushed off at 9:30am. The visit to about 30 families took us more than 5 hours… we finally had our lunch back in KL at 3:45pm!

Contributions from Inner Wheels included groceries such as rice, flour, cooking oil, noodles, margarine, etc. They also brought diapers, milk powder and multi-vitamin supplements.

Mr Paner Selvam, our coma guy who woke up recently, received a brand new red colour wheelchair, which will be very useful for him, and also the wife to move him around.

One of the Inner Wheel ladies also took time to tutor Shanti’s daughter during the visit.

The visit was definitely a success and very much welcomed and appreciated by Friends of Kapar. Thank you to the Ladies of Inner Wheels!!!
