While the wife works as a dishwasher to bring home some money for the family, this partially blind man helps out by tailoring and alterations. I was pretty amazed by this … he uses both his blurred vision as well as his keen sense of touch to cut and sew. In a good month, his income from this can go up to more than RM500.

This goes to show that if there is a will, there is a way … you just need to put in some effort, and of course a little bit of help from outside can also go a long way. We do have a few ladies in Kapar who can sew or bead at home. If you know of anyone who needs this kind of work to be done, please contact Ainie or Kim
