Life is a challenge to the poor villagers. The issue of lack of legal documentation, bad living conditions and a host of other social issues are beyond what Friends of Kapar can do. Our focus is in FEEDING and EDUCATION. Below is the list of activities of Friends of Kapar. Please contact Ainie or Kim if you wish to find out more about these activities.

1. Feeding Programme – this programme is divided into:
(a) “The Grocery Bag” Project-feeding the Families;
(b) “Sustenance for Seniors” Project-providing powdered milk & oats for old folks;
(c) “The Diaper” Project-providing diapers & powdered milk to the infants/ handicapped;
(d) “Medical & Health” Project-providing medical aid eg. supplements, wheelchair, glasses etc.;
(e) “Shanti Home” Project-providing aid to Home for the Abandoned in Kapar;
(f) “Karthik Care” Project-providing life essentials for abandoned & handicapped Karthik;

2. School Aid Programme – this programme is divided into:
(a) “Books & All” Project -providing school essentials to underprivileged school children;
(b) “Breakfast for You” Project-providing breakfast to the underprivileged school children;

3. Community Nurture Centre (CNC) Programme – this programme is divided into (this can & will expand):
(a) “Tuition Centre” Project-providing free tuition for the underprivileged children;
(b) “Resource Centre” Project-providing reading materials etc to the Kapar Kidz;
(c) “Toy Library” Project-providing a play area & toys for the Kapar Kidz;
